Guess who's back, back again, tell a friend...

Attention: Investors, Collectors and Firebird Enthusiasts!

This is the first and only place I’ve listed this 69 Firebird for sale. My classic cars don’t last. If you’ve paid attention to my classic car listings in the past you’ll have noticed they always sell. Here’s your chance to own a “Best Of Show” 69 Firebird. I sold this car and another to a collector in Delaware last year. He’s looking to clear out some inventory and asked me to consign the car for him. Only about 25 miles have been accumulated since. The car is located in Delaware and is available for inspection by appointment.

Introduction: Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro from MSCLASSICCARS.COM. I’m not a dealer but a hobbyist who has a passion for classic cars. You might recognize my name from other magnificent classic cars I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve had featured classic cars at Barrett Jackson, Carlisle and Atlantic City auto auctions. My 70 pro touring GTO shared the stage with the American Heroes 69 Camaro that sold for $500,000 at the most recent Barrett Jackson event held in Palm Beach this year. I’ve also had many classic cars featured in magazines such as Mustangs and Fords, Mustang Enthusiast, Mustang Times, Smoke Signals and the Dupont Registry.

The Market: I’ve been playing with classic cars for over ten years now and have realized that the classic car market is a great place to invest money. When times are great, the market is extremely strong and when times aren’t so great, the market still holds its own. I’ve sold cars for strong money in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such great investments are because people are crazy about cars! It’s not just a certain group of people but all types of people and ages. A 10 year old and a 70 year old both appreciate a classic car. The Barrett Jackson auto auction is an example of how many people love classic cars. Not only do millions of people watch it live on Speed T.V. but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. As I mentioned above the first generation Firebirds are becoming extremely rare and very collectable. Purchasing this Firebird is like putting money into an aggressive cd.

The Description: This Firebird was crafted with one goal in mind, to compete at car shows in the stock, first generation Firebird class. Compete it has! This Firebird has won innumerable trophies, many in Pontiac classic car shows. This Firebird took “Best in Class” honors in the Firebird/Trans Am class (105 cars) at the Ames Tri-power Pontiac Nationals. This Firebird consistently judges between 89 and 93 points out of 100. Less than 500 miles have been placed on this Firebird since it's restoration. The paint replicates the original Metador red so closely it has never been questioned by any judge.  This masterful paintjob is the work of well known body artist Chuck Irwin. The paint is beautiful and deep. The correct black vinyl top really adds that extra touch of class. One of the most stunning features of this Firebird is the fit of the panels, doors, trunk and hood. One glance and you'll agree it was done right. The CORRECT MATCHING NUMBERS ENGINE started life as a 2 barrel but now roars through life as a 4 barrel as the PHS BUILD SHEET INDICATES. The man who restored this Firebird stated the engine was rebuilt by a retired Pontiac engine mechanic and it was built to 350HO horsepower range.  I can attest that the engine runs extremely smooth and strong. It starts quick and idles beautifully. It also sounds MEAN!! The exhaust has a nice throaty sound that is delivered through Flowmaster mufflers and 2.5'' pipes that are fitted very well.  The Hurst 4-speed transmission shifts extremely smooth and the clutch is easy to use. Watching the tach on the hood between shifts is fun. The Firebirds interior is excellent with no visible signs of wear. The door panels, steering wheel, dash, etc seem to be original. The glass is in excellent shape as well as all the chrome trim. I replaced the rear quarter glass chrome trim with rubber, the outside door handles and the door sills recently. It's equipped with an AM radio in an uncut dash. It has power steering with manual brakes 4 wheel drum. The tires are bias ply Firestones F-70-14 Wide Oval Raised White Letter and have less than 200 miles on them. It also has the correct T-3 headlamps and master cylinder. The trunk compartment is amazing. This Firebird looks NEW!!! INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THIS FIREBIRD IS A NEW PAINTED REAR TRUNK LID WITH SPOILER.

Conclusion: The good news about these classic cars is they’re still reasonably priced compared to others. The market is starting to climb quickly so grab yours before they get out of reach. Purchasing this Firebird is like putting money in the bank. The value of this piece of American history will always be on the rise. I challenge you to spend some time searching for restored earlier generation Firebirds. You’ll find there very hard to come across and the one or two you might find are typically outrageously priced. I’ve priced this firebird very competitive! This Firebird is available for an inspection during the auction time frame by appointment only. I look forward to an exciting auction. Please call me at 401-339-8966 or email me with any questions. I can’t answer emails during the day at work so please be patient and I’ll email you back when I get home.

Thank you,
